Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is an English actress who had her major break at the age of nine through the phenomenal Harry Potter series. She played the character of Hermoine Granger, Harry Potter’s mudblood close friend. Watson’s work in Harry Potter not only brought her fame but numerous awards and an estimated 10 million pounds in her account. In 2009, she modelled for the famous brand Burberry for their Autumn and Winter collection.
Born in Paris, France to parents who are both English lawyers, she knew she wanted to be an actress at an early age of six. She performed in different stage plays but auditioning for the Harry Potter movie was her first try for professional acting. Aside from the seven Harry Potter instalments, she appeared in various films such as The Daily Telegraph and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Watson has always been praised for her selections when it comes to fashion. It is no wonder why People Tree, a Fair Trade Fashion brand asked her to be their Creative adviser. With her surprisingly smart picks in clothes, gleaming confidence and angelic face; she proves that wand controller Hermione is now all grown up. She embodies a fervid and modish modern woman.
On the red carpet, Miu Miu, Elie Saab and Jason Wu creations are some pieces she was noted wearing. Although, she is always spotted in ladylike outfits, Watson shifts to her cool and funky side every now and then. What she would wear next is thrilling mystery for many. I’m going to do what I want to do. I’m going to be who I really am. I’m going to figure out what that is, Watson said. Could she still be figuring out her fashion statement as well?
