It’s finally getting a bit sunnier outside but if you’re still feeling winter pale it’s the perfect time to start having a play with a bit of colour and a cream blush is a quick and easy way to kick start your spring make up. For some, cream blush can be a bit daunting but new formulas have made them super blendable and easy to apply with an amazing range of colours whether you go high end or high street; you still get a beautiful result.
And the good news is the best way to use them is actually the simplest! Smile widely into a mirror so you can see the apples of your cheeks, after warming the blush between your fingers place a couple of dots in the middle of the apples and then blend outwards up towards your cheek bones. If you’re a bit unsure then start with just a small amount, the magic of this is that you can build it up gradually to the effect that you want just make sure all the edges are blended so you have a naturally flushed effect. Your perfect shade will always be the colour you naturally blush but of course you can have fun playing with shades from soft pink and peaches through to scarlet and fuchsia, the choice is endless!
